Background: Globally skin diseases are major health problem. These caused by different types of Tinea infections that include: barbae, capitis, corporis, cruris, faciei, manuum, pedis and unguium. The prevalence the ranges from 25% to 45.3%; worldwide rate fungal is within range 20 - 25 % globally (WHO, 2005). This wide variation disease pattern among countries because type, occupation, age, sex, level immunity culture. Objective: aim study was identify which age groups more susceptible (Ringworm) patients who attended Halibet National Referral Hospital, Dermatologic Clinic 2014 2018 Asmara, Eritrea. Methods: A five year retrospective record review done group for superficial its determinants in outpatients dermatologic at Eritrea 2018. data analyzed using SPSS version 22. Results: Out these came whole country as referral self-referral, 5524 (17.18%) were diagnosed clinically cases with infections. results also indicated an increased trend diseases. found be highly common children [76% (n=4201)]. revealed a significant association (P<0.000) between site/type infection.
